Love-In-A-Mist

Plant in the springtime in an area with full or partial sun. Direct sow or transplant 6 inches apart. Seeds require light to germinate.

Bachelor’s Buttons

Direct sow in a sunny area every 2 inches, 1/4 inch deep. When first true leaves emerge, thin to every 6 inches.

Calendula

Transplant or direct sow 6-12 inches apart, in an area with partial to full sun. Flower petals are edible and can be used as a garnish.

Tulsi

Direct sow 6-8 inches apart and cover lightly with soil. Seed require some light to germinate.. Water regularly; Tulsi is not drought tolerant and can be damaged by high heat.

Marigold

A French variety with edible flowers, tasting like citrus and spice with a bit of bitterness. Transplant outside after last frost, giving plants 8-12 inches of space.
